Role Description

This is a **contract-based, remote position** for a Dermatologist who will serve as an **advisor** to the Skincentric team. Rather than providing individual patient care or diagnoses, you will focus on offering **dermatology-informed guidance** on our non-diagnostic skin-typing system and related educational features.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing general dermatologic input on our overall approach to **skin profiling** and user education.
• Offering high-level feedback on how our **skin-typing framework and content** align with real-world skin needs and best practices.
• Highlighting any broad areas of concern or confusion from a dermatologist’s perspective.
• Advising on how to position Skincentric’s tools as **educational resources** that support, but do not replace, professional care.
• Participating in occasional check-ins with the team as we iterate on product features.

Qualifications

• **Board certification in Dermatology** (or equivalent recognized qualification).
• **Strong knowledge** of general and cosmetic dermatology, including common conditions (e.g., acne, eczema, hyperpigmentation, photoaging).
• Familiarity with **evidence-based guidelines** and reputable sources (e.g., AAD, NIH, PubMed-indexed literature).
• Experience simplifying dermatologic concepts for **non-clinical audiences** is a plus.
• Comfortable providing high-level, **non-diagnostic guidance** rather than individual medical advice.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working remotely with a small product team.

Time Commitment & Compensation

• Involves occasional meetings and periodic review of materials as needed.
• Compensation to be discussed based on experience and availability (hourly or project-based).
